Due to our growing activities, we are looking for an associate to complete our Corporate team in Hasselt.
About the Role
Handling files from A to Z, from consulting to formulating an opinion, mediating towards a solution or advocating in court
Assist clients in their growth projects including due diligence and negotiation of agreements, guidance of transactions
Providing constructive, pragmatic solutions in which you think creatively and out-of-the-box with your client to provide substantial added value for them
Ensuring clear communication with clients and building good relationships with them
Training and supervising young lawyers
Help build the Monard Law of the future
Profile
You have a Masters degree in law from a Belgian university
At least 3 years of working experience in corporate law with emphasis on company law or vice versa
Enterprising, solution-oriented and pragmatic attitude
An unmistakable team player
You are thorough in your work
You have a sense of humor and the ability to put things in perspective
You have a good understanding of clients need and proactively ask questions to frame their requirements
Good language skills (Dutch, English, French)
